Behaviour Tutor

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a behaviour tutor in one of our specialist schools in Kingswood, Bristol.

This school provides full-time alternative education to students across Key Stage 3 and 4, with an emphasis on transition and re-engagement back into mainstream education or employment.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Candidates must have GCSE qualifications grade C and above or equivalent
  • A child workforce DBS on the update service
  • A clean UK driving License with a access to a vehicle 5 days a week
  • Be enthusiastic and engaging to the pupil that you'll be mentoring
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and acts as a positive role model
  • Takes a personal interest in the mentoring relationship

This role will be suitable for you, if you are looking to start or pursue a career working with young people who have challenging behaviour. A usual day would include academic studies in the morning and vocational studies in the afternoon for example; Trip to a farm for activities including team building activities.

This role is also full time with hours; 8.30 am - 4.30 pm
£60 - £70 per day!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
