Behaviour Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Teaching Personnel are looking for a teaching assistant with strong behaviour management skills to work with a client school based in Newport. The role requires you to work within small groups engaging pupils and keeping them on task to meet their daily objectives. Successful candidates will be strong minded and have experience of working with pupils that display challenging behaviour. Team teach trained is desirable for the role, however training can be provided. The pupils at the school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome and challenging behaviour. You will be asked to work between regular school hours of 9:00-3:30, however we would expect the successful candidate to be at the school for 8:30. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £54.00-£60.00 a day based on experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
