Behaviour Teaching assistant jobs in Walthamstow

Job description

We are currently recruiting behaviour teaching assistants for an 'Outstanding 'SEN school in Walthamstow which is part of an academy trust of multiple special schools across East London. This post will be working with primary and secondary pupils with social, emotional or mental health difficulties and presenting challenging behaviours. The successful applicants will have prior experience working with young people with behavioural difficulties, flexible and confident to deliver 1:1 support.

Male Behaviour TA:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a PRU or SEN setting
  • Hold Team Teach training is mandatory or willing to attend course through Teaching Personnel
  • Can provide 1:1 and group support across KS1-KS4
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Available for an Immediate start
  • Committed to school term time, full time hours : Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
