Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for the York and Selby area. We are looking for someone with experience of working with children aged from 4 - 11; experience in education is not essential. Ideally Team Teach trained and preferably good de-escalation techniques. However, all experience may apply.

NQTs with relevant experience are welcome to apply

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Supportive teaching techniques
  • Team Teach trained
  • Experience with Challenging Behaviour
  • An education based qualification

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
