Are you a primary Teaching Assistant seeking a new challenge?

We are recruiting for a secondary setting, catering for pupils with behaviour needs, including ADHD, Autism and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health). The school has very small class sizes (of around 6-8 pupils) and has a high level of support staff. The pupils can display challenging behaviour.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistants and 1-1 supervisors to support pupils. You will be supporting the pupils both inside and outside of the classroom.

The be successful in this role you should:

  • have experience working within a primary or secondary school setting
  • be enthusiastic about supporting pupils with Behavioural needs
  • be resilient, creative and supportive
  • have good behaviour management

Team Teach training is also desirable. Teaching Personnel can support you with this training if you haven't already completed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
