***** SEN Teaching Assistant *****

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a SEN secondary provision that is based in the Brighton & Hove area. This outstanding school are in need of educators who have a passion for SEN and who can use their initiative as well as being pro-active in class and in-between classes. It is important that you’re able to build rapport with the pupils as they will look up to you as a role model, please see a quote below from a TA who currently works at the provision.

“I have been supporting secondary aged pupils for the last 4 months, I have been working on a 1:1 basis with one specific pupil who have Autism and ADHD. Sudden outbursts are rather common but as we have built a strong relationship, I now am able to de-escalate their heightened needs and can now predict when they might have an outburst”.

About The School:

The school cater for primary and secondary aged pupils who have the following needs: Autism, ADHD and PMLD (Profound, Multiple, Learning, Difficulties). The school have a wonderful curriculum that encourages both the pupil’s development and their social skills, the school have fantastic grounds and state of the art facilities catering for their pupils’ specific needs.

Additional Information:

Travel: Car/Bus

DBS: Child Only Enhanced DBS

Pay: £385 - £400 per week

Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm

Location: Brighton & Hove

Contract: Temp to Perm

Experience: Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties
