SEN Teaching Assistant required for m SEN Teaching Assistant required for 1 year maternity cover starting June 2017

  • Full time position supporting a student in Year 3
  • Experienced Behaviour mentor needed - experience of MAPA or Team Teach would be beneficial

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work in a local Primary school supporting SEN.

The school are looking to recruit a full time Teaching Assistant who has previous experience working with SEN children, ideally children with EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties).

A candidate with Team Teach or MAPA training would be beneficial as would experience or working with Autism.

To be a successful candidate you will need to;

-Have experience working with SEN pupils or EBD pupils.

-Have a calm manner

-Have previous experience working in an SEN school environment or supporting SEN in mainstream.

-Be able to communicate confidently with pupils and parents alike
