Schools in Hull are recruiting Teaching Assistants to provide support with challenging behaviour.

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant in Hull that can provide assistance for children with challenging behaviour. This support is generally needed on a part-time, short term basis but role responsibilities and requirements can vary. We are looking for someone with experience of working with pupils of Secondary School age (aged 11- 16 years old), experience in an educational setting is not essential. Ideally you will be Team Teach training and have good de-escalation techniques. However, all experience may apply.

NQTs with relevant experience are welcome to apply and will be considered.

An ideal candidate will have:

  • A supportive technique, in line with the curriculum
  • Experience with Challenging Behaviour
  • Secondary School and Behaviour Mentor experience

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
