Behaviour Support Worker on the East Coast

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for enthusiastic, approachable and flexible support workers for roles on the East Coast. The Role will involve working on a 1:1 and small group basis with children and young people who have has some of the most challenging upbringings. The main part of your role will be to aid and support in the young peoples learning, education and enrichment however some aspects will involve deescalating and dealing with behaviours of an extreme nature.  

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and skills

•             Previous experience supporting behaviours, i.e PRU, Youth and Community Work…

•             Team Teach (desired but not essential)

•             Calm and Approachable nature

•             GCSE’s of A to C in Maths and English

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
