Behaviour Support Worker

Job description

A small two form entry Primary school located in OL15 area of Rochdale is currently seeking an individual with suitable experience for the post of a Behaviour Mentor. The post of a Behaviour Mentor is to work alongside other colleagues providing support to identified students that need assistance with their learning and behaviour.

  • Competitive pay rates starting between £50-£65 a day dependant on experience

As a Behaviour Mentor you will be preparing and delivering learning activities to individuals and groups alongside monitoring students across attendance, behaviour and achievement. You will also be responsible for providing support for students, teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils with behavioural needs.

This is a small primary school located in Rochdale is a short drive away from the M60 motorway. The school is based on a large site with spacious classroom and excellent provisions for all students to progress in.

By working with Teaching Personnel, which has existed since 1996, you will be given access to the 'CPD Academy', which is great for those looking to develop their skills and aspiring teachers. Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers such as the National Association of SEN, Christ the King Primary School and St. Patrick's Roman Catholic High School to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities, covering areas such as; assessment for learning, planning for progression, effective behaviour management, teaching for learning, using data, SEND, effective adult learning support, supporting pupils with BESD, Safeguarding, etc.
