Job description

The school is located in Roundhay LS8 approximately 5 minutes away from the Leeds City train station. Public transport routes are also easily accessible and regular to the school.


The school are looking for a:
* Strong Teaching Assistant with experience working 1:1
* Experience working with children with challenging behaviour
* Full time starting as soon as possible
* Team Teach trained or willing to do the training through Teaching Personnel


The school received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2016 and have roughly 612 pupils and 17% SEN pupils in school.
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.


These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability and many more.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
