Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Bolton

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large, mixed secondary school in Bolton who wish to appoint a behaviour support teaching assistant ASAP to support the learning of disengaged pupils and those with additional needs. This is a flexible full time position, required until the end of academic year initially.

Due to the upcoming summer examinations, our client secondary school in Bolton is looking for a behaviour support teaching assistant to join their inclusive support team to help identified pupils engage with a range of core subjects. This role would be best suited for someone who has previous experience working with challenging behaviours and strives to help pupils reach their full potential.

Your role as a behaviour support teaching assistant will require you provide extra interventional support to identified pupils in the classroom, in smaller groups and on a 1:1 basis. You will act as a positive learning mentor and so the ideal candidate will be patient, understanding and have previous experience in roles such as sports coaching or social care.

The secondary school requiring behaviour support assistants is located close to Bolton town centre, neighbouring the Farnworth and Kearsley area. The school offers on site parking for staff and can also be accessed by local public transport links from Salford and Bury.
