Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join one of our primary schools in Cardiff to support children from Foundation phase to Year 6.

The role will involve:

  • Working alongside teachers and parents.
  • Supporting pupils who have behavioural and attendance issues
  • Providing support to a range of children with a variety of needs.
  • First-hand experience supporting SEN - Personal or within a classroom environment would be advantageous.

You will be working Monday - Friday between the hours 8:30am- 4pm.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
