This job entails working with secondary aged students and requires someone who can support the new English and Maths GCSE curriculum using the AQA syllabus at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Although previous experience of working in a PRU is not essential, it is desirable and you must be confident to deal with very challenging behaviour at times.

Ofsted most recently inspected this school in 2016 and stated that 'Highly effective teaching over time in English has led to increasing numbers of pupils, including those who are disadvantaged and the most able pupils, making accelerated progress and achieving standards that are in line with or above those achieved by their peers in all other schools.' The school was assessed to be a Good school overall.

This school is looking for the right person to fit the job and join the team. You must be passionate about working in a PRU and prepared to work collaboratively with other staff members.
