Job description

I am currently working on behalf of a client school based in Nottingham City (NG8), who require a Teaching Assistant who specialises in Behaviour support. The School require long term, temporary support for a Year 3 pupil with ADHD who displays highly challenging, disrupting and sometimes physical behaviour within class.

The school is based in the strelley area of Nottingham City an is rated 'good' by OFSTED. The school have a fantastic track record of developement and progression of staff.

The school are looking for a strong, experienced behaviour specialist who is outgoing but firm with boundaries, to work on a part time, 1:1 basis with the pupil on a reduce timetable as he attends a Nurture group 4 half days per week.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly experienced with pupils who display challenging and physical behaviour (minimum of 1 year experience).
- Team Teach or any other behaviour de-escalation training is desirable but not essential.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to form good positive relationships but must be firm with boundaries.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
