Behaviour Support Role in SEN School - High Wycombe

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for one of our schools in the High Wycombe area. We are currently looking for someone with a can do attitude and someone who has a patient character. The post is to start ASAP, with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff.

The school has high numbers of pupils from challenging backgrounds. You will work closely with your colleagues to create action plans for students across a wide range of ages, taking an active role in implementing a programme that positively encourages pupils to overcome barriers to learning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Improve the pupil's skills and ultimately raise engagement and attainment in school.
  • Value each child equally and recognise their unique potential.
  • Flexible and creative approach
  • Able to work under pressure and in stressful situations
  • Liaise with class teachers in devising complimentary learning activities

Teaching Personnel are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all children. In order to work through Teaching Personnel, you must:

- Have a current DBS on the Update Service or be willing to get one (Full Assistance Provided).

- Be able to provide 2 references covering 6 years.
