Are you a Behaviour Support Assistant with experience working with adults or children who display challenging behaviours?

If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking a Support Assistant to work in North Blackpool with pupils who display very challenging behaviours. The School mainly caters for pupils who have been excluded from School for behavioural difficulties and mental health difficulties. The School is smaller than average and many pupils in School display aggressive/disruptive behaviours in class.

The role is full time and you will be expected to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils across KS3/4. The role will require somebody who is hard working and looking for a long term role.

The candidate must have experience supporting pupils who have difficulties learning or difficulties with their behaviour. The candidate must have experience supporting pupils with aggressive behaviours and ideally come from a youth work, military or education background.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £50-60 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
