Job description

Teaching Personnel work exclusively with a School based in East Lancashire behavioural unit which caters for KS3/4 pupils who have SEMH Difficulties, Autism and pupils who display challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and the School would benefit from a hard working, experienced Teaching Assistant who has strong behaviour management skills. The ideal candidate would hold their Team Teach qualification but this is not essential.

The School is based in East Lancashire with close links to public transport and ample on site parking. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils with SEMH difficulties and therefore candidates who have an understanding of mental health difficulties or experience in this field would be ideal.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting children or adults with challenging behaviours, be available on a full time basis and seeking a role in a forward thinking behavioural unit. The candidate must be willing to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who can display verbal or physically aggressive behaviour.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £256 - 300 per week
