Job description

Are you a Support Assistant with experience working with children or adults who display challenging behaviours?

We work closely with a School which caters specifically for pupils with SEMH Difficulties and pupils who display challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and pupils in School will often struggle with their education in mainstream, hence why they have been moved to this School.

The role is to start in September and candidates must be available full time from September 3rd. Candidates with holidays booked between September and Christmas will be considered, however, candidates with full time availability and no term time holidays booked will be favoured.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties and have strong behaviour management skills. The candidate must be willing to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils who can be violent and therefore, candidates who hold their Team Teach qualification will be favoured for this role.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £ 54 - 64 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
