Behaviour Support required in Burnley!

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Burnley SEN/SEMH School which caters for KS3/4 pupils who often dislay challenging behaviours and have additional learning needs. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils who can display some violent and difficult behaviours, therefore candidates with strong classroom management skills will be required.

The role will likely be full time, although candidates with a minimum of 4 days availability will be considered. The role may start on an ad-hoc basis and ideally candidates will be flexible in the beginning. You will be working in a Burnley based School which currently caters for approximately 45 pupils and candidates in School will be expected to work from 8.45am - 3.30pm.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEN and/or challenging behaviours and candidates with their Team Teach qualification will be favoured. The candidate suited to this role will be hard working, enthusiastic, empathetic with a passion for working with pupils who are harder to reach.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
