Due to an expansion of their support team, join a vibrant and friendly secondary school supporting students that may be at risk of being excluded due to their behaviour.
- Full time Behaviour Support Mentor required ahead of the new academic year (September 2020 start)
- Fixed term contract for 12 months, with potential for a permanent contract thereafter
- Support identified students who are at risk of being excluded
- Offering in class support on a 1:1 basis, as well as small group support outside of the classroom
- Earn up to GBP1400 per month (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Our client school was opened in 2010 when two local secondary schools merged, moving to a new state of the art building. The school has good transport links, with it being close to the M60 motorway and also has good public transport access.
Working at our client school as a Behaviour Support Mentor, roles and responsibilities will include:
- Having a positive influence on a range of students that you will be supporting
- Helping students to fulfil their potential
- Having several key competencies including patience and resilience
Although experience in this role isn’t essential, it would be beneficial. If you have experience in youth and support work, you may have many transferrable skills for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
