Behaviour Support LSA (CF23)

Job description

We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) who is experienced in working with pupils with challenging behaviour.

The successful candidate will be joining a large Green A1 primary school with extensive and modern facilities based in the CF23 area of Cardiff.

The role will involve:

  • Working alongside parents.
  • Supporting pupils who have behavioural and attendance issues
  • Providing pastoral support to a range of children with a variety of needs.
  • Experience working in the SEND Education sector or Health care sector would be advantageous.
  • First-hand experience supporting SEN - Personal or within a class room environment
  • Must be confident in handling behaviour - Firm but fair
  • You must be a creative and caring individual that is willing to go above and beyond for the pupils

We are committed to finding you the right role and setting and will continue to support you during your assignment and competitive rates of pay from £54-£60 per day, depending on experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
