**Behaviour Support Assistants Needed in Bournemouth**

Teaching Personnel are working with a client school in the Bournemouth area, seeking Teaching Assistants to support pupils with behaviour needs. The school is a Secondary school catering for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school and may have additional SEN needs, including SEMH and ASD.

We are currently recruiting for a full time Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a 1-1 basis off-site.

You will be responsible for:

  • liaising with the class teacher about the work for the day
  • transporting the pupil to and from the assigned location (usually a library)
  • engaging the pupil in their work
  • behaviour management

To be successful in this role you must:

  • have experience working with children and/or young adults with behaviour needs
  • have a full, clean driving licence and access to a car
  • have business insurance
  • be confident working on a 1-1 basis
  • have strong behaviour management

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
