Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a client school in the Bournemouth area.

  • Full Time
  • £60 per day (minimum)
  • Immediate start
  • 1-1 Behaviour Support

The school is a Secondary School catering for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school. The children can display challenging behaviour so you must be confident with behaviour management.

This role will involve working on a 1-1 basis with pupils off-site. You will be required to transport the pupil to a designated off-site location (usually a library) and support them with their work.

You must have experience working with pupils with behaviour needs.

  • Schools - mainstream or SEN settings
  • Youth Work
  • Healthcare
  • Sports Coach
  • Prison Officer
  • Military
  • Social Work

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
