Are you looking to work in schools?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for 1-1 Teaching Assistants to work with pupils with behaviour needs.

Our client school is based in Bournemouth and caters for pupils with behaviour needs, including pupils who have been excluded from mainstream schools.

You will be working as a 1-1 Support Assistant, working with pupils off-site (either in a library or learning zone).

We are looking to recruit experienced Youth Workers / Sports Coaches / LSA's / Teaching Assistants who have experience with pupils with behaviour needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • engaging the pupil with their work
  • supporting them with their education
  • behaviour management
  • liaising with the class teacher regarding work and progress

You will also be responsible for transporting the pupil to the sessions so you must have your own transport.

To be successful in this role you should:

  • be resilient
  • be confident
  • have experience working with children or young adults
  • be flexible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
