Behaviour Support - Huddersfield

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a specialist SEMH behaviour setting based in Huddersfield - easily accessible by car and public transport. The post is to start as soon as possible and you will be required to work during term time until the end of the academic year. The post also has the possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff if successful in the role.


The schools work with disadvantaged and LAC children who are vulnerable and display very challenging behaviour. The pupil that you will be supporting has behavioural and special needs and they require tailored, 1:1 support. Alongside basic and functional skills the school offers extra curricular lessons such as Photography, Music and Hair and Beauty. We are looking for someone with a fair but firm approach and be willing to go the extra mile to support staff and students who is proactive and resilient.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
