Job description

An average sized primary school have an exciting role for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their committed and outgoing team on a full time basis from the new year.

This is a specialist role to manage the school's successful provision for primary pupils with challenging behaviour and a variety of SEN. You will be responsible for planning targeted activities to raise attainment, reduce levels of unauthorised absence and improving behaviour and pupil well being.

The school is popular in the local area and the provision is regularly over subscribed.

You must be confident teaching and planning as per the UK primary curriculum.

Due to the challenge of the role, it is essential you possess strong behaviour management.
