Job description

A Junior School in the Borough of Haringey are looking for an ASC support worker to work with a child with autism coming in to Year 3 in September 2018. The school is in the Crouch End/ Hornsey area and their latest Ofsted report found them to be a 'Good' school.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

- previous experience of supporting children / young adults with autism

- experience of social / emotional support for children

- experience of working in a mainstream or SEN school

- experience of working with children or young adults who require help with personal care

- availability for full time work (Monday - Friday)

- a DBS registered on the update service

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
