Job description

A lovely behaviour school in Enfield are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant who has previously supported students in KS3 with challenging behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis. The school are looking for an individual who is willing to support students with Social Emotional Mental Health needs, with an outgoing personalit. This school in Enfield are looking for applicants have previously supported pupils in a PRU setting or with a Youth Work background.

The school pride themselves on providing an innovative and creative curriculum to support students with challenging behaviour and learning difficulties. Applicants who are looking to be considered for this position need to have a desire to work with children with Social Emotional Mental Health Needs and support with challenging behaviour needs.

Desired traits for this position:

  • Previous experience supporting students in a PRU setting
  • Experience providing 1:1 support for students with Social Emotional Mental Health needs
  • Provided 1:1 support for pupils with challenging behavioural needs
  • Experience supporting secondary students with behavioural needs and learning difficulties
  • Team Teach/ Safeguarding/ Phonics Trained (not a must but would be desirable)


  • Regular training interventions will be provided to help ensure staff are well equipped
  • Excellent daily rates through PAYE with no additional fees or costs
  • Access to state of the art facilities; plans have been put in place to develop the site and improve the learning environment of its pupils
