Job description

Due to an increased demand for Behaviour Support Workers and Special Needs Teaching Assistants to work with pupils with complex social emotional and mental health needs, we are are looking to appoint passionate individuals who have experience working with young people in education or health care settings. We have a vacancy for a Behaviour Support role within a specialist setting on the outskirts of Bradford City Centre.

We are especially interested in hearing from individuals with a background in Sports (coaching), Psychology, Youth Work or Performing Arts. We would also welcome applications from those with additional training such as MAPA, Maybo or Team Teach and from individuals who have previously worked in residential care settings.

You will be passionate about supporting young people with additional needs to overcome barriers to learning in order to access the curriculum and make effective progress across all subject areas. You will be able to commit to work for a minimum of three days a week during term time and to undertake any relevant training pertinent to the Behaviour Support role.
