We are searching for an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to support a Year 2 child at a School in Chester-Le-Street!

The school are looking for a strong Teaching Assistant, who has experience with challenging behaviour to start ASAP till the end of term, however for the right candidate the school would consider offering a fixed term contract.

If you would like to work in a school that provides a welcome and secure environment allowing pupils to have the opportunity to succeed and learn and uphold British values in tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.

Pupils achievement is good with an effective system in place to track progress of the school.

Details about this role:

  • Full time role
  • Easter through till Summer
  • Supporting a ASC pupil on a 1:1 basis
  • Competitive salary, earn up to £320 per week!

In order to apply for this role you must -

  • Experience supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour
  • Up to date with the Primary Curriculum
  • Be available from Easter and commitment till the summer
  • Be able to provide 2 good references
  • Valid DBS

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
