Job description

A full time position for a Youth Worker. This role commences ASAP and Youth Workers will need to travel around sites based in Manchester so a drivers licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. Behaviour Support Assistants with the appropriate experience and qualifications should apply as soon as possible.

The Setting is a Pupil Referral Unit which is located in Manchester and runs across 9 sites. The pupils who attend the Setting often show signs of challenging behaviour and can be prone to aggressive outbursts, so the Setting are ideally seeking Youth Workers who have significant experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour/ SEMH.

In order to apply for this position you should have:

- A qualification related to Youth work or Behaviour

- Significant experience working with pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour

- An in-depth knowledge of crisis prevention tactics

- Experience working with pupils with EBD

- Experience working within a Pupil Referral Unit (desirable)
