Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a SEND school in Middlesbrough who are seeking a behaviour support assistant on a part time basis, to commence as soon as possible.

The role will involve working on a 1:1 basis with students across Key Stages 1 and 2. The main element of the role will be helping the children to engage with their learning, and encouraging personal and social development whilst managing challenging behaviour in lesson time. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of staff to manage and track pupil's behaviour and learning. You will be supporting students who display social, emotional and mental health difficulties who may display behaviour such as social anxiety and ADHD.

Ideally, the candidate will have experience working with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and challenging behaviour. The client school welcomes candidates with backgrounds in education, youth/social work, counselling and graduates. You will be supported by a specialist team of SEN recruitment consultants with education backgrounds, who are well placed to enrol you onto your desired courses.

Teaching Personnel can offer behaviour support assistant's competitive pay rates of £65 per day, for the right candidate longer term rates can be negotiated on your behalf. This role will commence as soon as possible on a part time basis through school hours, 3 days per week. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
