Do you have experience working with students with challenging behaviour?

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced behaviour mentor to join our partner school in Wythenshawe, Manchester. We are looking for someone who is confident in supporting students with challenging behaviour. The successful Behaviour Support Assistant will be able to successfully create a calm working atmosphere and will be able to minimise disturbance and confrontation whilst applying the whole school expectations assertively and fairly. The successful behaviour support assistant will implement behaviour modification interventions and will work 1:1 with students with recognised emotional or mental health issues.

The successful Behaviour Support Assistant will be required to cover an absence due to start in November 2018. This position will run until March 2019 in the first instance with the possibility to extend for the successful applicant.
