Behaviour Support Assistant - Colchester

Working within this school there are a number of pupils who will fall under the SEN and SEMH bracket, with the quality of staff that help within the behavioural unit the pupils are provided with the right support to develop. However, the school have asked Teaching Personnel to find another suitable candidate to help provide the pupils support with their work. This could be on a 1:1 basis or in small groups throughout the day.

The successful candidate will be needed ASAP to support Key stages 3 & 4. Working alongside the class teachers to ensure the pupils have stability and continuity for the rest of the academic year. Having the ability to de-escalate certain situations will enable the pupils to stay focused with the work set for the lesson they are in.

Teaching Personnel require the successful candidate to have a child work force DBS on the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
