PRU / Inclusion Manager – Ellesmere Port – January 2020

Do you have extensive experience working with students with challenging behaviour?

Have you worked in Pupil Referral Units in a Secondary setting?

Are you looking for a challenging yet rewarding job supporting young people with managing their behaviour? PRUs (Pupil Referral Units) educate and support young people who have been specifically excluded from lessons. Students are taught in smaller groups and are supported, both, in and out of the classroom. This role will involve supporting and motivating young people academically and emotionally. Teaching Personnel are working closely with a large Secondary School in The Ellesmere Port area who are looking for full time work starting in January until summer 2020? Working in a “a safe and supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to reach their potential”.

The specialist inclusion room is designed specifically for pupils having difficulty within the classroom.

All classes consist of no more than 10 students and you will be assisted by a TA in every lesson.

Salary - GBP60-GBP80 a day

Contract - Long term, full time

Start - Immediate

About you:      

  • Passionate about supporting and inspiring young people        
  • Have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude  
  • Possess excellent behaviour management skills (training will be provided)
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues, students and parents
  • Have a great understanding of SEN
