Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Behavioural Support Assistant to work within one of our Sheffield schools to start after Easter.

The ideal candidate would be comfortable working in both KS1 and KS2, having prior experience working with both groups and on a 1:1 basis. The Behavioural Support Assistant will have brilliant overall behavioural management capabilities and be able to engage and build an excellent rapport with students.

The Behavioural Support Assistant would have a patient and nurturing approach, with the ability to effectively deescalate volatile situations. The post is initially for 1 school term, with the potential to lead to a permanent role.

Teaching Personnel are seeking:

  • A candidate who has experience working with individuals who display challenging behaviour
  • A Behavioural Support Assistant with experience across KS1/2
  • A Behaviour Support Assistant who has supported on both a 1:1 and classroom based setting
