Behaviour Mentor
Pay: £66.30-75 a day
Location: Bristol BS7
Hours: Full-time Mon-Fri 8:30-3:30pm
Do you have experience working with SEN?
A new Behaviour Mentor position has become available at a supportive secondary school in Bristol BS7. This Behaviour Mentor role will be working with students in small groups or 1:1 in the classroom supporting their engagement with learning. This may include providing academic support, de-escalating situations confidentially, managing sometimes challenging behaviour and building lasting relationships.
You do not need a formal qualification for this Behaviour Mentor role however experience working with children in some capacity is recommended and desirable. Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH is helpful, optional training is offered to those who want to gain more experience. We are running optional Team Teach de-escalation training next month which may be useful for the successful applicant.
