Role: Behaviour Support Assistant

School: All-Age Alternative Provision

Location: South Bristol

Salary: £55-65 per day

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a behaviour support assistant for a September start in South Bristol. You will be working with students with complex, high behaviour and additional learning needs. In this role you will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis as well as supporting small class sizes of a maximum of 6 students. For this roll you will need to be extremely resilient as you will be working with incredibly challenging students aged 4-18; so experience working with challenging students and vulnerable children is necessary.

The ideal candidate:

  • Be flexible and adaptable to a students individual needs working closely with each student bespoke educational plan
  • The ability to drive is not essential however it is desired as a large percentage of the role is off-site
  • Maintain classroom ethos and support the teacher and work effectively with students with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
  • Be resilient, enthusiastic and engaging
