Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a behaviour specialist Teaching Assistant for a long term 121 support position within Year 3 class in a mainstream Primary school in the Scunthorpe area.

The role:

The role is to start after the October half term, ideally full time but the school are willing to consider flexible hours for the right candidate, the role is temporary initially however there is the potential of a permanent contract being offered.

The successful candidate will support the educational and pastoral needs of a child in Year 3 displaying challenging behaviour and learning difficulties.

The ideal candidate:

You will be qualified to Level 2 or above and have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour or SEN on a 121 basis, which can be referenced. You will be resilient, demonstrate excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team. Additional training such as Team Teach are desirable, but not essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
