Do you have experience working with young people who display challenging behaviour within education? Are you trained in Youth Work, SEMH or additional learning needs and wish to secure a full-time position within a secondary school in Bury?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a small mixed comprehensive secondary school situated in the centre of Bury to recruit a full-time Behaviour Support Assistant to work within their on-site support unit. This position will commence with immediate effect and will be guaranteed until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

"We have an open gap within our support unit for a full-time Behaviour Support Assistant to work with identified pupils who display challenging behaviour during the school day. It is essential that the incoming Behaviour Support Assistant has previous experience managing behaviour and diffusing challenging situations." Inclusion Manager

  • Full-time Behaviour Support Assistant position, immediate start until the end of the academic year initially.
  • Working alongside identified pupils, monitoring behaviour and promoting positive behaviour management.
  • Full support will be provided from Senior Leadership and the Inclusion Manager.
  • Earn up to £1200 per month, experience dependent.
  • Located in central Bury, accessible via the M66 motorway.

This position is suitable for Graduates, Youth Workers and experienced Behaviour Support Assistants and will receive ongoing training through the CPD Academy.

Our client secondary school is smaller than the national average with 600 pupils on roll at present. There is an on-site support unit for pupils that require additional support and the behaviour team are situated here.

Located in central Bury, the school can easily be accessed via the M66 motorway. For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas Prestwich, Bolton and Rochdale.
