Behaviour Mentor roles in North Yorkshire

Would you like to support children who may be facing barriers to their learning?


  • Behaviour mentors required for a September 2018 start
  • Supporting students through tuition across Maths, English, and Science
  • Developing targets and goals with the student
  • Working within the pastoral department
  • Reporting to the SENCO and senior leadership team
  • Ideal preparation and paid work for aspiring/future teachers
  • Graduates and undergraduates considered and welcomed to apply
  • Earn up to £75 per day (dependant on experience and role undertaken)
  • Cover supervisor, exam invigilation, teaching assistant work
  • Work in schools local to you across North Yorkshire

An excellent behaviour mentor works alongside the pastoral department within school providing 1:1 support as well as group support to students who are facing challenges and barriers to learning. The role would be suitable for someone who is able to remain calm in stressful situations, and is able to manage behaviour effectively whilst building positive relationships with students.

Teaching Personnel are also working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, outstanding local schools and Universities to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities. Working with Teaching Personnel will provide you with ongoing professional growth, career enhancing development and a basis for an outstanding start to a career in any sector of education.

Working in schools, paid via supply is excellent experience and will give you the chance to understand how lessons are planned, delivered and procedures followed in a school environment.
