Job description

Behaviour mentored required - Ealing - full time - £60 - 80 per day

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate behaviour mentor on behalf of an excellent primary school located in Ealing.

This is a full-time position providing support across KS1, including carrying out interventions with children with challenging behaviour. This can include behaviours such as not completing class activities, throwing learning equipment around the classroom and distracting peers from learning in the classroom. The position requires a calm and dedicated member of staff to prioritise the needs of the pupils.

This is the opportunity to work in a good primary school with a experienced senior leadership team, it will be a full time position - offering a varied wage depending on experience. With a school that has a developed ARP unit they are always looking for positive and dedicated members of staff to work closely with their students with challenging behaviour. They do require members of staff to be team teach trained, or willing to be trained before taking on the role.

This role provides candidates with the opportunity to work with SEN units within a mainstream school, helping them to integrate within the school whilst also providing them with specialised support for their individual needs.

The ideal candidate:

  • At least 6 months experience supporting challenging behaviour in a classroom based environment
  • Good role model with good command of the English language
  • Youth work experience
  • Team teach trained or willing to complete the training
