Behaviour Mentor/ TA required ASAP in Romford

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a 1:1 Behaviour Mentor for a specialist Behaviour Unit in Romford for secondary aged pupils with behavioural difficulties. This role will be mentoring pupils have complex behavioural needs that have been excluded from mainstream and PRU setting, some have been involved in gangs , drugs and delinquency. We are seeking confident people who have previous experience working either in PRU setting or have experience / training working with young people who have behavioural ,social, emotional or mental health difficulties.

This role will be for an immediate start one term contract post in the first instance with the potential to become permanent.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
