Job description


Our client school in Skelmersdale are looking for a TA to support the needs of pupils with Autism and SEMH on a small group basis.

The school is a specialist school, catering for children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health and Behavioural Difficulties and ASC.

All pupils attending the school have statements of special educational needs linked with SEMH including specific learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders, cognitive and complex learning difficulties.

Class sizes are small and will likely be no more than 8.

You will ideally have experience working in a SEN School and must have experience working alongside students who exhibit challenging behaviours.

Candidates with Team Teach are highly sought after!

The role is full-time, to start ASAP and is until Christmas initially, with a view to continuing beyond. (I'd like to stress that this school has previously recruited our staff on a permanent basis!)

The role will be 5 days per week, 8:30 - 3:30, therefore you must be fully available to be considered!
