Job description

Teaching Personnel work alongside a Preston based School who are looking for a strong behaviour mentor to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who have SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and ODD. The pupils in this School will display challenging behaviours and candidates interested in this role must have experience supporting very challenging pupils and be experienced in de-escalating difficult behaviours. The pupils in this School are aged between 11 - 16 years of age and many of the pupils may display violent or verbally aggressive behaviours.

The role will be full time and candidates will be expected to work from 8.30am - 3.20pm monday - friday, occasionally you will finish early on a Friday but this cannot alwys be guaranteed. The role will take place in a School on the outskirts of Preston and ideally the candidate suited to this role will be team teach trained and hold a valid UK driving licence.

The candidate must be hard working, be confident when working with pupils who have additional needs and challenging behaviours. The candidate will also be empathetic when working with the pupils who are often harder to reach.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £60 - 75 per day
