Behaviour Mentor needed for a primary school in the Radcliffe, Bury (M26) area

Are you wishing to pursue a career working with young people who display challenging behaviour? Do you have previous experience working with children and young people in educational or Youth Group settings?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school within the Bury (M26) area. Due to an increase in pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs, our client primary school wishes to appoint Behaviour Mentors to work with identified pupils this academic year.

The role of Behaviour Mentor will incorporate delivering short intervention strategies in meetings to improve behaviour whilst implementing the school behaviour policy and monitoring progress. You will work directly with the schools SEN Co-ordinator and Inclusion Manager, alongside class teachers to ensure all pupils are able to access learning and display positive behaviour.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
