Job description

Teaching Personnel Bristol Primary work in partnership with an amazing school, which is part of a successful school federation. This particular school is located in the Kingswood area of Bristol and is one of the largest primary schools in South Gloucestershire, with three classes per year group. The school is situated within its own grounds with large play and sport spaces with well established trees and shrubs. The school is rated 'good' with outstanding features by Ofsted.

We are currently supporting this particular school with their recruitment for a Behaviour Specialist TA.

  • De-escalating challenging behaviour?
  • Working in an educational setting?
  • Supporting Primary aged pupils?

If you answered 'yes' then please read on…

  • You will be supporting a delightful pupil in Key Stage 2 on a 1:1 basis.
  • You will receive on-going support from a highly experienced SENDCO and also outer-agencies.
  • You will be committed in organising and implementing on-going provision for a child who has Attachment Disorder, and therefore sometimes struggles with the Social and Emotional sides of communication.

The hours are Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 3.30 pm. Apart from on a Tuesday, which is when you will attend an after school club with the pupil until 6 pm!

Here at Teaching Personnel, you are paid weekly. The extra hours will be reflected in your pay also.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
