Role: Behaviour Mentor

School: Primary School

Location: Yate

Salary: £54-65 per day

Teaching Personnel is seeking a behaviour mentor to support students on a 1:1 basis with students in a really lovely primary school in the Yate area. As a behaviour mentor you will need to have experience supporting young people who can be challenging. The ideal candidate would be engaging, enthusiastic and resilient due to the challenging nature of the child. In this behaviour mentor role you will be able to support students academically as well as support student's personal development building confidence and social skills.

As a behaviour mentor you will need to have excellent behaviour management and be able to support the students in the classroom, as well as outside of the classroom. You will be supporting a student who struggles in the classroom and struggles to engage with lessons, therefore you will need to use a range of approaches in order to engage the student and calm them when needed.

You must be able to provide your two most recent professional references and be able to apply for a child workforce DBS if you don't already have one.
