Role: Part-Time Behaviour Mentor

School: Independent Special School

Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Salary: £55-65 per day

Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a behaviour mentor to work on a 1:1 basis and to support small class sizes. This role is based in a really lovely school where the classes are grouped by ability and not age, allowing you lots of flexibility working with a range of student.

As a behaviour mentor within an SEN school you will need to be able to be engaging, enthusiastic, and motivational as well as being incredibly resilient. This behaviour mentor role is available for day-to-day supply, allowing you to work where and when you want.

SEN experience is desired, however not essential.

You must be able to provide your two most recent professional references and be able to apply for a child workforce DBS if you don't already have one.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
